We are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant/Driver, who will part of the logistics and operations team, contributing to the smooth day to day running of the business. We have a small but fast paced warehouse and require a flexible, helpful person to join us.

Driving maybe required as part of this role.

No two days will be the same, so you will need to be adaptable and positive in your approach to tasks.

This position is Monday - Friday 45 hrs per week.

Key Objectives

The role is varied with multiple responsibilities which include:

• Unloading incoming deliveries; checking for damages, checking the manifest is correct to the goods received.
• Packing orders to be shipped out via our partner couriers.
• Driving the company van to collect orders from our suppliers.
• Delivering customer orders in our own vehicles.
• Warehouse maintenance; keeping our warehouse clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Assisting customer collections, helping to load into their vehicles.
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
• To be on hand if other parts of the business require assistance.
• Maintaining good relationships with customers.
• Applying systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the warehouse.
