Flexible and easy to install, this flashing forms part of an in-roof mounting solution and sits in the centre at the top when the solar panel is installed in a portrait position. Top flashing is not usually necessary but can be required if the positioning or style of the roof tiles cause them not to overlap the top of the GSE half-frames by enough of a margin.
The cost-effective GSE In-Roof System is compatible with any roof type and can be installed on new builds or when retrofitting solar panels into an existing roof. With a 10-year manufacturer's warranty, the system requires minimal maintenance, although the PV panels should be regularly cleaned to guarantee optimal production.
